The trail boasts a wide variety of sights and interests including a castle at each end, idyllic pubs, cream teas, a steam train ride (bikes carried free) and a visitor centre at Meldon as well as a host of flora and fauna including the bluebell wood and birds of prey which can often be seen hovering over head along the trail.
